Chairman's Message
Department of Civil Aviation in Sharjah is acutely aware of the status of the aviation
sector and the role it plays in the economic development of the emirate in particular and
the United Arab Emirates in general.
So we are keen to dedicate work efforts within a strategic plan to ensure the achievement of human, and environmental
development continuously. We are also seeking to upgrade and develop the air transport sector in the emirate by applying,
providing and operating the best air navigation facilities standards. Moreover, improve and activate security, safety, and
environmental procedures.
As a part of adopting a policy of expansion, we are keen to have closer ties with international organizations concerned
with the affairs of aviation and the signing of the memorandum of understanding internationally and regionally. Although
the achievements of the civil aviation sector in the country during the last years, it puts an enormous responsibility
on us to face the upcoming challenges and utilize all our efforts and capabilities to accomplish more achievements.
